Shannon attended the Pennsylvania State University where she graduated with a B.S. in Health Policy and Administration with distinction in 2002. Later, she graduated from Regis University, receiving a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Management with honors.
In 2005, she earned her nursing home administrator’s license for the state of Indiana. She obtained a nursing home administrator’s license for Pennsylvania in 2006. Between 2005 – 2021, she worked as a nursing home administrator for both regional and national corporations. She has been a featured speaker presenting on nursing home reimbursement changes impacting resident care. Additionally, prior to joining the Wieand Law Firm LLC, Shannon provided consulting services and nursing home case reviews for law firms throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
